Howdy folks. My wonderful luck in life has me stuck yet again with a problem not seen on this entire planet, according to searches on Google and everywhere else on the internets. So, I launch the utility MaciPac (downloaded from Ultimarc), plug in my iPac2 board. Then when I go to re-configure a button, say...1SW1 to R, I get an error saying Upload Failed to Start. MacIPAC was unable to start the upload. Please try again.
      Lovely.
Has anyone else received this error and found a solution?

      Much appreciation.

This was something I experienced a few years back so take this solution as a maybe.

I ran into two issues with the iPac that I ended up using for a VPin:

1 - It could not get new assignments in the Mac version of the program
2 - I could not flip it over to the alternate firmware to allow joystick inputs

I found that I needed to update to the most recent firmware from a PC and assign inputs there. Once that was all done I was able to access it from the Mac side. Unsure what fixed it along the way though.

A VM won't always work so do a boot camp if you can.

Hope that gets you a step further!
