      Re: Passing argument/parameter to emulator

      Hi!

      I followed the thread above and included the "--escape-exit" option to my emulators.cfg, but is still impossible for me to exit from the game with the "pause menu" button I configured. It only opens the menu, like before, but is not exittingfrom game. However, the ESC key of the keyboard is working like expected, exitting the game without showing the menu.

      Somebody else tested this solution and can helpme? Maybe I missed something. Thanks!

        @ladillacarnivora

        just to confirm ... your setting looks like this

        ppsspp = "/opt/retropie/emulators/ppsspp/PPSSPPSDL %ROM% --escape-exit"

        check that the button you configured for the pause is in the controls.ini file

        /opt/retropie/configs/psp/PSP/SYSTEM/controls.ini

        there will be 2 values assigned to it .. the esc button on the keyboard, and the other button you configured.

        yours will look different to mine (1-111 will be the esc key and the other button you've assigned), but as an example of mine in the controls.ini file

        Pause = 1-111,10-192

          Thanks for your reply @dreamcastkid.

          In effect, my "Pause" button is defined at my controls.ini file

          Pause = 11-4008,1-111

          On the other had, at emulators.cfg, I tried the "--escape-exit" option before and after %ROM% param, with the same behaviour.

          Another valid solution for me, would be to be able to handle the pause menu with my controller. My interest trying to exit withone button, is because I can't handle thepause menu with it. Only keyboard responds. Do yo know something about this?

          Thanks again!
