Quake III Arena exit game without keyboard

Please help
I have installed Quake III Arena via Ports on a Rpi 3B RetroPie 4.2
I have mapped all the necessary buttons and have a nice config to a Xbox controller.
I want to give my mod as a present to my nephew.
I won’t be supplying him with a keyboard nor do I think it’s advisable for him to have one.Where or what Is the config plist I can edit to paste a command like
“Start + Select = F4 ://emulationstation”
