SEGA Titan Games make Retropie freeze
-
Hey Folks,
System:
- Raspberry Pi4/4GB with genuine PSU
- 512GB SanDisk Micro-SD with official Retropie 4.7.1 installed
- used Emulators: lr-MAME2010, lr-MAME2016
- error: System freezes
i am just preparing my new Pi4 and hace an issue with SEGA Titan (STV) Games.
On my Pi3B+ i got them running using AdvanceMame 3.9.
They were too slow to be playable, but they did run.
On my Pi4 i use the "Arcade"-folder and have three emulators combined with this Folder: FBNEO, lr-MAME2010 & lr-MAME2016.
So far, so good.
The only issue: i cant get SEGA Titan Games running at all.
Even worse: when i try to start one the whole systems freezes.
Because of that i dont have an error-log, the system freezes before writing it.
I tried both emulators that support STV: lr-MAME2010 & lr-MAME2016 and both show this behavior.Could it be a wrong / too old STV-BIOS?
Would this cause such a freeze?
Has anyone similar experiences? Thanks in advance and have a nice weekend ;)

I dont have any idea anymore atm.
Just to test i wrote a Fresh 4.7.1 image, installed only lr-MAME2010 & lr-MAME2016, put in validated 0.139 STV-Roms and BIOS (both running on a Pi3 with AdvanceMAME), did not change anything in the settings, all default,...system freezes :/
What i dont understand: why does it seem that i am the only one?
Or is noone interested in STV? Dudes, that is the Arcade-Spin-Off of SEGAs Saturn, it is good! :)It is not that i am expecting that they are really playable, even on a Pi4.
But that they lead to a Freeze of the System makes me mad :/
With this Status i would have to delete them, i dont want anything freezing my system onboard.
