For some reason, my controller stopped working for ps1 games. I can access the Retroarch menu but get no response from my controller for the games. I tried everything so I think it's a configuration override issue. Is there any way I can resolve this or should I uninstall/reinstall Retropie? Thank you!

Have you tried updating the emulator from the RetroPie-Setup script ?

@mitu Yes, I tried both installing from binary and source. I think it may due to some configuration issue, but I see I'm not the only one having this issue. I tried using different controllers and setting the controller to "dual shock" but nothing works!

Yes, it's a configuration issue - see this topic for how to solve it.
Do you remember when was your previous update of RetroPie/PS1 emulator ?

@mitu Just yesterday, to get the latest binary. I'm going to try and do what it said in that post you linked me to.
