Help with Nespi4 shutdown script

Hello everyone, I recently got a Nespi4 case for my Pi4 - 4gb model.

Everything is fine, so I decided to try their shutdown script, for the buttons, installed it from their github:

Command I Used:

wget -O - "https://raw.githubusercontent.com/RetroFlag/retroflag-picase/master/install.sh" | sudo bash

Result:

Shutdown Buttom turns it off instantly (dont know if it should do that)
Reset Button resets, so okay
Reseting system from emulationstation also works

And finally, shutting down from emulationstation crashes the system, image below:

Already tried re-installing the script.

Any help is welcome.

The internal switch is turned on to safe shutdown and im running the latest version of Retropie, installed it today
