Issue adding games to Neo Geo
-
Hello,
I've been searching for a few days now trying to figure out why Neo Geo games won't add as easily as NES or Sega, what I think I figured out is I need to add the neogeo.zip file that comes with a ROM pack to the bios folder on retropie, at least I think that's what should be done. I did add the neogeo.zip image to the bios folder but then no games on the list, including what I added will boot. I went back to the original zip file and the games that were already on there work again.I am running this on my Pi 3 b+,
a site
.
I like it, but I would just like to add more Metal Slug games and I'm running into this issue. Am I missing something? Do the games I add need to be compatible with whatever version Rick Dangerous has on his image? If so how do I find out what version I am running and then how would I find the games to match? -
We don't support 3rd party images, as the one you're running. The forum rules also forbid links to ROM/copyrighted material, so please remove the link to the image site.
If you wish to get support here in the forums, please start with the image at retropie.org.uk/download, otherwise ask the image author(s) for help.

@mitu How am I removing it as I don't see any edit option?
-
@mrkite You use the hamburdeur menu on the bottom right.
I modified the topic and removed it. -
@mitu Listen before you told me that and I cliked on that there was no edit option, now there is and it is doing absolutely nothing. If you want to delete my entire post go for it. I'll find help elsewhere. Thanks
