Using Amiberry Emulator
-
Hi all
I am finally about to setup my dads Rasberry Pi 400 at the weekend and after asking loads of questions on here (thank you all) I think I have enough knowledge to make it work ok.
Just one question.
For Amiga games do i plan to do the following and just want to make sure its correct.
- Install Amiberry as by default this amiga emulator is not installed
- Put the kickstart roms (which i have) in the bios folder
- Put the WHDload Roms (.lha) into the roms folder (amiga roms folder)
After i do this and re-start the Retropie then the games should show up on the main screen. If i then click on the games will they load up and ready to play? the reason i ask is that i read a comment that with WHDload roms you need to do an extra step? if so what is it?
I am trying to make this as easy as possible for my dad to use and ideally id like him to just see the games, click on one and it will load up.
Thanks all

i would advise editing that typo ... otherwise, the Berry Police are gonna be paying a visit to your dad ;)

@chris3535 sounds good.
Follow the 3 steps you wrote and it should run.
You may tinker with some options in the Amiberry GUI (F12 or the regular hotkey-combo used by Retroarch) like display and controls for personal opimizations, but the games / lhas should be in your gamelist and startable. -
@sirhenrythe5th brilliant thanks very much for your help

you're pretty close .. you forgot the "p" in Raspberry
but at least it's better than the 1st typo ;)
