      For those struggling with the "factory setting" video mode on a display with a lower resolution:

      Modify r_mode to read seta r_mode = -2 in the wolfconfig.cfg / wolfconfig_mp.cfg. (source, search for "r_mode").

      The value -2 uses the native resolution of your output device. Can not tell if it works for 4k tho, but for resolutions present at that time the game was released it works well.

      As a further reference: at my RetroPie setup r_mode=6 equals to fixed 1024x768, r_mode=9 equals to 1600x1200.

      @tpo1990 thanks for the heavy lifting of porting. Maybe it is advisable to set r_mode = -2 by default on retropie installations?
