Can I use Apple 20W USB-C power supply with Pi 400?
-
I have just received the new Pi 400, but the power adapter I've ordered is delayed. Not good to have your new toy, but not be able to play with it! :-D
So I've been looking around for a power adapter to use in the meanwhile.
Would the officiel Apple 20W USB-C power adapter be allright?
It says: Output 5V = 3A or 9V = 2.22A.
That "fits the bill", right? And it's an officiel Apple charger (came with my new Ipad Air), so I suspect the quality to be good enough too.

@steffenbrauner Yes it should be fine to use the Apple power supply with the Pi400. Early models of Pi4 would not work with "smart" power adapters (where the cable has a USB-C connector at both ends), but the later models were tweaked so that was not a problem. My Pi4 works fine with a Batpower (generic) USB laptop charger/power supply.
I've got an "official" Raspberry Pi power supply, but I'm not using it ATM for either of the Pi's that are turned on - just use your judgement to choose a "good quality" one (that delivers 3A at 5V) :D
