      I just got a pi 4 for retropie (complete newbie) and the only game I have to try right now is Ocarina of Time for the N64. I loaded it up and it doesn't run smoothly at all. The game is very choppy with lots of audio stuttering. Are there some settings I can change or am I out of luck with this one?

            @ifail i forget what the default is, but you should try mupen64plus-gliden64 for optimal results

            also:

            please provide the filename of any image used

              @ifail

              lr-mupen64plus @ 640x480 (select the resolution from the runcommand menu)

              but will only run at about 20fps

              also, consider overclocking
