Hello I just received a Raspberry pi4 with Retropie installed and a bunch of games. Everything is connected to my TV and to the internet. I updated Retropie to what I suppose is the latest version.

I have two problems at the moment:

      1. Some roms are launched in a very small window and are practically unplayable (image for reference link text). This is a list of consoles having this problem: Sega32x, Virtualboy, Atari2060, Atari780, Gameboy/Gameboy Color.
The other consoles I tried run fine (Sega Master System and Genesis, NES, SNES, N64, GBA, etc.), in some cases I had to change the default emulator with another one which was already installed.

      2. While the Raspberry is connected to the internet (scraper and update work and I tried with both Wifi and cable), I cannot see it in my newtork or access it through Windows or SFTP. So at the moment I'm stuck with loading roms through USB and using Retropie file manager.

Is there something I can do? I'm a total beginner so please keep it simple!
      Thanks

@mitu It's a gift so I couldn't choose it and I think it mounts a custom image unfortunately (there's a video intro and background music I'm not able to mute).
By the way I find a partial solution to the network problem (the unit name wasn't RETROPIE but raspberrypi) and now I can explore folders from my windows pc.
I also found a way to navigate Retroarch menu without much lag by selecting a non animated interface.
Regarding the emulators I was finally able to run GB and GBC roms fullscreen installing lr-tgbdual from the optional packages. (Same thing I did with GBA using lr-vba-next).
Still no luck with Sega32X: is there a possible alternative for lr-picodrive in the optional and experimental packages? Same for Atari 2800/7600/VirualBoy but i didn't plan to play with those very much or at all.
Any help is of course appreciated

@berutti i'm sorry, but we do not support third party images. you should ask the person who set up your system, as nothing you are describing would happen in our supported image, which you should install if you want support: https://retropie.org.uk/docs/First-Installation/

@dankcushions ok thanks anyway I'll try to get the most out of this installation and sooner or later I'll try to make a clean installation by myself. Would it be possible to remove the SD with the custom image and experiment on a new SD so that I can go back to the first one in case I make a mess out of the latter?
