Retropie not turning on
-
Hi my retropie 3 when I turn it on has red light on inside but not in outside and doesn't boot what could be issue
-
Check in https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentation/configuration/led_blink_warnings.md to determine which problem you're facing.
-
It doesn't blink at all I've opened it and plugged in and put power cable in and red light is on then when I turn it on nothing happens
-
No diagnostic led blinking usually means the sdcard cannot be read.
-
So what do I do
-
Make sure the sdcard is properly inserted. If that doesn't work, try reading it from your PC/computer. If that doesn't show anything, then you'll need a new sdcard.

Just to let you know, I had a similar issue that was really frustrating.Long story short - it turned out to be an incompatible SD Card. The SD Card still works fine in other devices I have, but refused to work in the Pi4
I followed many helpful tutorials about editing files to get the display working, tried other imgs, spent a long time trying, but it was something about the no name SD Card that gave me misery.
My personal experience.
