The "which games works" with Box86/Wine topic on the RetroPie RPI4/400

What are the default GPU core clock speeds on the RPI400?
I believe it's 500 (like the Pi4), I overclocked to 775 without any problem.

I haven't read ahead very far but will installing mesa w/ Vulkan support make other emulators not work? -note: X11 is used, but it looks like there is a workaround for the issue that caused before.
The libraries and binaries don't overwrite the default retropie ones, so this is no problem.

@mth75
Ahh thanks, I haven't OCd my rpi4 yet, but I figure I'd start changing the clock to the 400s default. It is the same chip but maybe a newer revision, better parts than the 4?Try any KotOR with BOX86?

Chessmaster 10th Edition, some problems with context menu's but playable.
-
Runaway: a Road Adventure ... works.
-
Sudden Strike 2 ... works.
-
Runaway 2: Dream of the Turtle works.
-
Fallout 1 works really well. Miles better than it does on Dosbox.
-
Heroes of might and magic 3
runs okay anyways ?
without freeze's -
@shavecat Im fairly certain I have seen others get heroes 3 up and running. I may test it myself if I have time since heroes 3 is such a good game. I do have the game running through the VCMI engine but the AI controlled opponents are very stupid so the game is not enjoyable

@quicksilver
It does work the gog version with the box86/wine ! :)
but it freezes every time in different area..
at list for me :( -

at list for me :(Try to update your underlying box86, mesa and wine to the latest box86 0.2.1, mesa (20.3.4) and wine(v-6.1.-devel) installs.

Lamplight City, a 2018 point and click adventure game, works perfectly.

The game I absolutely want to play on my Pi4 ... Thimbleweed Park .... sound only ... no display output. So this is hopeful.
Well I know this is off topic, but you can play it over LineAge 17.1. Yeah yeah....I know it is not Retropie but it is just a suggestion how to play it on your Pi4 :)
Also try the game "The Cave" by the same creator Ron Gilber and Double Fine Productions.

It has to be RetroPie :-) ... that's the charm!

Unavowed, works nicely.
-
A Golden Wake, another Point and Click adventure, seems to run excellent.
-
Broken Sword 3, The Sleeping Dragon, seems to work perfectly.
-
@mth75 is broken sword 3 worth playing? I played 1 & 2 last year, really enjoyed 1 but didn't think 2 was as good. And I've heard the series has a downward slope in quality?
