Hello all, I thought I'd support the cause as well as potentially squash any potential issues I've been having by purchasing the official ROMs from Amiga Forever.

However after extracting the files I've found they are all different names (listed below) so not sure which ones I need to rename... If we even need still need to do that, I read somewhere today that said we didn't.

      Thanks for your help!

Depends on the emulator, for lr-puae, there's a BIOS list here, for Amiberry (recommended on a Pi), the list is here.

Thanks for getting back to me @mitu

I'm running them on Amiberry, but the document you linked to don't seem to have the same naming conventions as the ones listed.

They really can't be any clearer. The first one it tells you to to get is Amiga Kickstart Rom 3.1 (A1200 version). It's quite clear that you have "amiga-os-310-a1200.rom" which is the same thing.
            amiga-os-120.rom is 1.2 for 500/2000
            amiga-os-130.rom is 1.3 for same

            That's the three it wants.

@thorr69 Ah yes, you might be right there... I think I'm just being overly cautious. Sorry for being such a n00b face!

I've a ton of different ROMs in this BIOS folder, would it be better if I only had the ones that Amiberry uses so there's no confusion?

I'm still getting issues with black screens when starting games... sometimes don't even have any WHDLoad boot details popping up after the Amiberry logo fades, but maybe I'll post this as a separate issue.

Once you've put them in place, fire up Amiberry with no rom. It should go through the process of making the symlinks for those. You can check to see if they exist by going to
                /opt/retropie/configs/amiga/amiberry/whdboot/save-data/Kickstarts/
If you see the stuff in there with names like 'kick33180.A500' then you've got the kickstarts all set.

                  Thanks @thorr69

I found deleting the RTB files in:
                  retropie/configs/amiga/amiberry/whdboot/save-data/Kickstarts/

Then restarting sorted out the issues I was having. I think there were some leftovers from the other files causing a conflict perhaps. Sorted now though.
