I have gotten a few battery operated mini retropie devices set up, but have decided to undertake a larger project for less eye strain and hit a snag. I'm currently running a raspberry pi 4 off a phone battery charger and have been looking for a usb-c adapter with a power switch that will let me connect and disconnect the batter without having to pull wires everytime.

I'm using an Aukey 20000mAh power bank as my battery in this case and got the LoveRPi usb-c push on-off switch because it was cheap and Amazon recommended. While the Pi boots up fine with a high transfer rate usb-c cable I already use, when connected to the switch the power drops to too low a current to even power on the Pi.

Has anyone else tried using a switch like this that could suggest a good solution? I've already invested quite a bit into other parts and don't want to break the bank buying every cable online just to find one that works.

I have one of these. I use it with a wall adapter.
