      I have plugged a USB keyboard into my raspberry pi to play games on retropie. But when I click a game and try clicking the "A Button" I configured on the Retropie configuration, The emulator pauses. I am using the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B if that means anything.

        Which key did you configure for the 'A' button ? By default, RetroArch uses 'P' for pausing the game - did you choose it by any chance as your 'A' button ?

            K is bound to Frame Advance. Did you define a hotkey when asked to configure one in EmulationStation ?

              @mitu Yes. I configured my hotkey to be the Windows button since I am using a windows keyboard.

                You may need to remove the frame advance function from the K key. Add a new line to \\retropie\configs\all\retroarch.cfg with

                input_frame_advance = "null"

                and see if that solves the pausing issue.

                    @bonekiller99 Open the \\retrpie\configs\ folder from your PC (it's afile shares, similar to how you add roms) and open the file from the location indicated above in a text editor (Notepad).
