SkyScraper - Export list of games not scraped
-
Hello team,
I'm looking for a way to export the list of games that were not scraped using SkySkraper. The purpose of that would be to manually do the necessary changes for them to be scraped (changing the name, ...)
Is there a way to do so?
Other question, does SkyScraper has a "semi-manual" mode one could use to manually tweak the research terms (rom name) to try and find results?
Thanks for your assistance
Here's my setup

Is there a way to do so?After scraping, Skyscraper saves a list of missing/skipped entries in
$HOME/.skyscraper/skipped-<system>-<scraper>.txt
. For instance, scraping thearcade
folder from ScreenScraper would produce the fileskipped-arcade-screenscraper.txt
, listing the ROMs not found on the scraper. Same file can be found at\\retropie\configs\all\skyscraper
, if you're using file shares. However, Skyscraper relies less on file names and more on file contents, it hashes the ROM file and searches the scraping site by hash. For instance, scraping from ScreenScraper would certainly lookup the game by hash and not filename, while scraping from TheGamesDB would use the filename to search for the game.

It does, via the command line, see the
--query
parameter in the CLIHELP doc page. -
