      Hello,

The problem I am experiencing is: when I exit Kodi to go back to Retropie’s Emulation Station, I get the black screen issue. The system just hangs/idles on the black screen and I have to reboot to be able to use it again.

I’ve been looking around the internet, retropie forums, reddit, and see other people have experienced this since the past 4-5 years. However I am yet to find the solution. Please can you help?

This is a new instance of Retropie using the image "retropie-buster-4.7.1-rpi4_400.img.gz" on my RPi 4. I have installed Kodi 18.7 as per the instructions here:
      https://thepi.io/how-to-install-kodi-on-retropie/

Thanks for your time and assistance!
