Wondering if it is possible to fast forward emulators without needing to hold down a hotkey. Holding down the hotkey button prevents the ability to move or press action buttons to progress in the game while trying to fast forward. I tried to locate this in the retroarch menu but could not find anything.

Using an xbox 360 wireless controller with xbox driver turned off (can't use 2 controllers for some reason with driver on). Would like to hold down right trigger only to fast forward and be able to move/jump, etc. at same time.
