Flycast hotkeys for retroarch
-
Bit of a strange one.
At present my select and start buttons (or my select and X buttons) opens up the retroarch menu is any lr emulator.
However, lr-flycast seems to not want to follow suit and instead instantly closes the emulator when i press select.
Have tried lots of combinations but can't get the retroarch menu to open when playing - which I need to do so tweak the controls (a,b and X,y are swapped)
Any advice?

RetroPie configures
Hotkey + Start
as an exit command for any libretro core, you configuration seems to do the opposite. This makes me think you've either manually configured RetroArch and/or you have enabled 'Save on Exit' for the configuration andflycast
has retained the original - RetroPie default - bindings. You haven't added any info about your setup - as asked in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first - what kind of controller are you using ?

So should I just delete the retroarch cfg and see how it goes?
Controller is a third party geotek vx3 wireless PS3 controller.
Other than that, all official pi setup. Retropie image the latest from official website

Rename the
retroarch.cfg
from thedreamcast
system (/opt/retropie/configs/dreamcast
) and then immediately re-installlr-flycast
, this will re-create the default configuration for the system.
