      Info

Pi Model or other hardware: pi 2 B
      Power Supply used: 5V
      RetroPie Version Used 4.7.11
Built From: I used the raspberry pi imager from here to download retro pie
USB Devices connected: Bluetooth connecter for keyboard
      Controller used: keyboard
      Error messages received: none
      Verbose log (if relevant):
      Guide used: Just this website
Also I have the rpi1 (armv61) system running on raspbian GNU/Linux 10 (buster)

      Issue

      This is what happens
So every time I turn on my pie it says [ok]random text a lot of times, then pops up with the retro pie logo then goes to the command prompt. I have tried everything I have gone to the startup menu updated everything, I’ve installed imagedm because that worked for other people, I also rebooted it, I’ve typed in emulationstation after all of this and it just won’t work. Any advice helps and if you need anything from me just let me know

Are you sure you downloaded the right image for your system ? The 'illegal instruction' error at the top makes me think you downloaded the image for a Rpi2/3 or Rpi4 board.
