Is it possible to put a saved state in to the ES menu?

Some games have tedious startup sequences, or perhaps need lots of menu selections to get to the game that you want to play in a collection (eg, Super Mario All Stars).
In RetroArch games I can save game states, so for a few games I've saved a state to slot 0 that takes me to the start of the game, or state 1, 2, 3, 4 to take me to different individual games.
(Use controller hotkeys or a keyboard to choose a save slot and save/load states)Is it possible for me to load a saved state directly from the Emulation Station menu? Ideally I'd have say 4 entries for Super Mario All Stars and each entry would take me to a different saved state.
