I'm using the latest version of RetroPie. I have been playing around with tweaking settings and using different emulators for different games.

For most games the lr-mupen64plus works great, but I have found a bug with the camera in DonkeyKong. I have done a ton of research and none of the fixes I tried to implement work. I have found the mupen64plus running Glide64HighRes gives me the best resolution and performance without camera issues.

I'm having an issue with button mapping. If I map the controller in EmuStation like lr-mupen wants that doesn't translate to mupen64plus standalone and vice versa. What is the best way to handle this when using multiple emulator types based on ROM's?

@billymild you can override the configs for the lr-mupen64 emulators or the mupen64plus emulators via their respective config files. see https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Nintendo-64/#controls

@dankcushions what is the best way to do the intial config? Set it up for LR-MUPEN, then customize the mupen64plus config file?
