How to replicate the problem: attempt to set a videomode for lr-puaeI just installed retropie today on a Pi 4. Setting any videomode through runcommand for lr-puae doesn't work. The setting is ignored. lr-puae always starts in the default video mode (1080p@60 in my case).
Setting videomodes for other emulators, e.g. lr-fuse does work. Here is the contents of my videomodes.cfg
pi@retropie:/opt/retropie/configs/all $ cat videomodes.cfg
lr-yabause = "87-15"
lr-fuse = "87-6"
lr-puae = "87-6" -
Do you have any core overrides for
lr-puae
that might include the video modes ? Or did you use 'Save Configuration' from the RetroArch menu ?
Runlr-puae
with verbose logging enabled, then post the log file on pastebin.com and provide the link. -
@mitu Thanks for the help - you're right I did have a settings override for the core, and I had no idea those settings contained the screen mode as well.
So I had to delete the settings override file for the core, then set my screenmode in runcommand, then save my settings override again. All working now.
