Disable PS3 controller rumble lr-pcsx-rearmed
-
@prosthetichead It seems like this is only effecting people using ps3 controllers.
Like you said the only way to solve this problem is to turn off vibration within the game menu. -
Can confirm, also using a PS3 controller via bluetooth. This is specially present in games like Gran Turismo 2, where the controller is vibrating almost all the time. There's a small stutter for every little vibration.

@Beretta9 I'm using wireless 360 controllers and experiencing the same problem. :/

I posted a pull request a while back, but it has had little movement (from what I can tell). Added a comment about this thread to show there were a number of users having the same problem.

@SOSretro Doesn't look like they've given it any attention. Maybe I'll have to create an account and comment. More comments = more attention?

@AlmightyHeretic not really.. more coders = more action :)

@dankcushions,just want to add my appreciation for the developers who work on these projects in their spare time! I only added the link so it was clear it wasn't 100% user error. :)
-
I just submitted a PR for this. Hopefully it'll be approved in the coming days and then, if you update lr-pcsx-rearmed, you'll be able to disable vibration as a Core Option.

@Fenthor @Beretta9 @Junglist @AlmightyHeretic @xwons @prosthetichead @SOSretro You can use @pjft 's fix to turn it off or use a usb bluetooth. In my testing th stuttering only does it on the built in bluetooth.

@TMNTturtlguy could be the usb bluetooth device you are using. Mine worked great. Mine isnt one of those nano adapters though. Mines about an inch long.
