      Please help!
I've got a Afterglow X-Box wired controller plugged into bottom USB2.0
Configured and works fine in retropie menu.
Configured and works fine in retroarch, binded all the keys.
Launch a mame game, controller nothing, only way out is to reset.
I've got a wireless keyboard, plug into top USB2.0.
I can add credits pressing '6', but nothing else works.. again reset to get out.
Help! new to this. Following instructions, looked thru help.
      What am I doing wrong.
      Thanks

@darthvader please fill out all of https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first

Configured and works fine in retroarch, binded all the keys.

you configured the buttons separately in retroarch? you shouldn't need to do that - it should all configure automatically after https://retropie.org.uk/docs/First-Installation/

Well nothing else seemed to make the joypad work, It was my last option.
The joypad works fine on the retropie menu, just nowhere else.
          Help... still
