Tips on tiny handheld RPI3 Build
-
Hello,
I don't know if this is the correct forum but I want to build a portable handheld game console with my raspberry pi 3B. That I can carry anywhere and use as a handheld, and then quickly set up as a home entertainment and gaming system.
I've looked at WaveShare GameHat and the PiBoy DMG, but the first its too bulky and the second is more than I was thinking of paying.
I've found this little hat https://tinkersphere.com/raspberry-pi-hats/2901-gameboy-style-gamepad-hat-for-raspberry-pi.html but I haven't found any intel about it: screen resolution, drivers, installation, etc.
So I would like to know if anyone has any experience with it or, what would be the process to get retropie to work with the button inputs and the screen, also, what type of battery would this work with...
I know there are simpler solutions with the same price range, but I would like to have all my games in one place.
Thanks.
