Can only use two ps4 controllers
-
Has anyone else experienced the following issue and can offer a solution?
I am running the latest retropi image on a raspberry pi 3.
I can connect all of my three ps4 controllers via usb cable just fine, configure them (button mapping) and use them in games. I also tried connecting one of the three controllers via Bluetooth, which worked just fine, but the main issue persists:
I can only ever use two controllers in any game. I tried several games in several emulators (e.g. Bomberman in psx and Bomberman 3 in snes. Same result. I can never select a third human player.
I also tried binding the controllers to players in the retroarch „all“-config, but that didn’t change anything.Any one have a suggestion?

@sirswagalot have you enabled multitap modes in these systems? eg

@dankcushions thanks for that suggestion. I tried that now but to no avail. BUT: it lead me down the right path and I found this thread here:

That solved it for me!
Thanks y‘yall!
