Pi that was Previously Connected to WiFi with Static IP no longer Connects?
-
Hi,
My RetroPie had a static IP of 192.168.1.111, but has at some point become disconnected from the WiFi and now refuses to connect.
I've had a look, and there's no IP associated with the device and it keeps saying that it's unable to connect to the WiFi when I enter the password.
I'm pretty much about to give up, this is beyond stressful :(
Any help would be much appreciated.

@komsur I don’t think this is the right place for your question. We focus on retro gaming only here. Try the “raspberry pi stack exchange” forum

@komsur did you set this as static? Did you allow it to grab an IP and it's been holding it until now? Try dropping the network and reconnecting.
I've had mine hold IP's for months, then suddenly drop them and grab another. I would leave it as dynamic and let it grab what it's assigned. Then check the IP in Retropie.

@jamrom2 So, I'm not sure how to wipe static IPs from the system. It keeps saying the IP is unknown, as it can't connect.
