Xbox controller problem
Hi everyone. I recently bought a generic wired xbox one controller. I have installed the xpad, xpadneo, and de xboxdrv but still i can configure the controller. The controller is recognized when i start a system which it says xbox one s pad 1118/746 not configured.
I hope you guys can help me tnx in advance
For a wired Xbox controller you don't need neither
xboxdrv. Remove the drivers and re-install the
xpaddriver, then reboot your Pi and configure the controller in EmulationStation.
@mitu nope i didnt work. While conected to the raspberry the lights keep flashing as if it was searching for playera 1,2,3,4 (and yes i pressed the home button and it didnt work)
@p3y0_a15 Is this a wired or wireless controller ? Wired controllers should connect right away.
@mitu it's a wired but i can't configure it
Is the controller working with a PC/Xbox ? Did you try to see if it works on another system but the Pi ?
@mitu Yeah it does Works on PC. I used it on an emulator
Add some more info about your setup, as detailed in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first. In addition to that, run the following command - from the command line - and post the output:

Looks similar to this issue in the
xpaddriver - it looks like it's not supported properly.
Someone made a separate - patched - driver project here, if you want to install it then remove the
xpaddriver installed by RetroPie and follow the installation instructions from the project page.
@mitu It didnt work. The lights keep flashing as if it was searching for a player (1,2,3,4)
