      Hi Folks,

i tinker with my PIs since 8 years now, so "hobby" became "passion" :D

I got nearly everything working the way i want it to, thanks to this great forum and mastermind mitu!

There is just one thing i dont get solved...PPSSPP and lr-PPSSPP.

      • lr-PPSSPP: works great, but does not show any text in several places (i.e. the Save-Menu of the PSP, Menus in all "Monster Hunter"-Games, Text does not show up when you have to create a name for your avatar in any game...makes 80% of the games unplayable.)
I allready copied the official PSP-Fonts in "[...]/assets/fonts" of the PPSSPP-folder but that did not change anything. No solution until now.

      • PPSSPP standalone: shows text! great!
But there i have problems with my controller (8BitDO SF30 Pro).
It works fine until i remap the inputs.
I have to do that because the button-layout does not match,
As soon as i do that everything messes up totally :/
Direction Pad does not work anymore and is no more mappable, even "reset to default" does not help, it will never work again until i delete the input-config-file of PPSSPP.
I allready downloaded and copied the latest "gamecontrollerdb.txt" - did not change anything.

Has anyone an idea what to do or what else i could try?
Thanks in andvance and have a nice weekend! ;)

      EDIT: current system:

      • Raspberry Pi4 / 4GB
      • genuine PowerSupply
      • Retropie 4.7.15
      • 512GB Sandisk Micro-SD
      • no major changes or modifications, no overclocking

Does it have the latest firmware from 8bitdo ? Is it started in X-Input or other connection mode ?

@mitu i updated the firmware to the latest release v1.36 and tested the result yesterday evening.
A step forward: the pad does now work perfect when it is connected wireless.
As soon as i use it wired the strange behavior returns :)
But in the end i can live with that, i now can finally try all the games that do not show up importent text in "lr-ppsspp".
