Is there any 1G1R (1 Game, 1 Rom), or ALL Killer No FIller dats for MAME 2010, 2015, 2016? I don't know why something that sounds simple doesnt have a simple solution to this. I dont want clones or Mahjong roms in the set, but at the same time the best way for your MAME build is by getting a rom set instead of the individual roms.

Build a romset without clones in clrmamepro. https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Validating%2C-Rebuilding%2C-and-Filtering-ROM-Collections/

@mahoneyt944 ClrMamePro has been confusing for me and not simple. Do I need to get a certain xml/dat for my MAME 2015. I've never done the process on rom filtering/trimming so I'm confused.

@emulatre71 there are many tutorials for clrmamepro, while I don't use mame2015. The process should be the same. The dat files are typically available in the github repo. These with be the .xml files. Here are a few examples:

            Mame2003

            Mame2010

There are guides such as this one for mame2003-plus under "building romsets": https://docs.libretro.com/library/mame2003_plus/

Thank you, I have found that ClrMamePro does work on Linux Via Wine. Another option I have seen is to use Launchbox, but It did not work via wine. It does ask for a email just so you can download it, it feels like it may be one of those apps that are harvesting info and spying on you. As for the Linux compatabile MAME rom filtering software it is "Mame Set Rebuilder" that was very simple and easy to use.

Be forewarned - with some arcade games, one clone works better than the original/main.
