Can you add some details about your system, as detailed in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first ?
The installation seems geared towards a Pi4 system - do you have a Pi4 ?

@mitu Hi sorry I should have stated that.
So im using the official retropie build from the website on a raspberry pi 3b+ 200gb micro sd. I couldnt tell that the guide seems to be for the pi4. Do you think the code could be modified a little or anything to get it going? any help would be appreciated thanks

Sorry, I don't know more details about this module, but looking at the original topic (here), it doesn't seem anyone got it to work on a Pi3.

Hello I did most of the Chiaki additions to make it work on the RPi4.
It should definitely work on a Pi3b+ and I have had people report getting it to work on a Rpi2.I am not involved with that Retropie setup script though. That's someone else.
I would try installing the main Chiaki software and see if you can get it to work just from the PiOS desktop first. Then maybe move on to trying to configure it for Retropie. To clarify, I never had time to do anything proper to integrate with Retropie.
