Built From: Pre made SD Image on RetroPie websiteI'm building my own Emulationstation theme for Retropie. I have everything set up and looking how I want it. Currently I have the "Arcade"(which I renamed to Games) and "Options" sections set up with a background, a Mortal Kombat arcade cab with changing snap vids and marquees, and gamelist text on the right side that I have set to be yellow when selected and dark red when unselected(see included pic).
Recently I wanted to add a few custom collections. I got those added and created my "kollections" section. The MK cab, background, and snap vids transferred over just fine. But I can't get a marquee to show up for each collection of games and also my text modifications did not transfer. They went back to what they were before, yellow text when selected and black when unselected. It's like something is overriding my settings both in my main theme.xml file and in my custom collections theme.xml file. Can't quite figure out why almost everything transferred over but the marquee and the text mods.
You can see these differences in the included pics. On the "games" screen my marquee, snap, and text are exactly how I want them. But on the "kollections" screen the marquee is absent and the unselected text is the wrong color. I have the marquees I want to use for each collection in the correct folder and my theme.xml files are pointing to the right location with all the same size, position, etc. settings that I used on all of the other screens. Any thoughts? Is there another xml file somewhere outside of my custom theme that controls the collections section and may be overriding my settings? I'm relatively new to this so I may have missed something.
