I'm trying to find a way to use custom boxart within the Redream emulator (not boxart in EmulationStation). Some of the files that Redream picks up are not the best quality and some of them are for the European boxart rather than US. It would also be nice to add a custom "Disc 1 / Disc 2" notation to the image in the future.

I was able to find the files in:

      \retropie\configs\dreamcast\redream\cache

I tried replacing these files with the images that I wanted to use but Redream decided to redownload the original files overwrite my files.

Do these need to be in the 512x512 size that Redream uses or is there another file location that I need to track down? I believe that the ones that I downloaded are 415x415 so I'm wondering if that's why Redream decided to give mine the boot.

@derekr resizing to 512x512 seems to have fixed a lot of the issues. Another one that I came across was that the ".PNG" extension of a couple of my files was capitalized. Make sure that your files use the lowercase ".png" extension.
