How to swap disks on lr-atari 800

I finally made it to install the retropie lr-Atari 800 emulator on my raspberry pi 3b. Joystick i use is a USB Speedlink Competition Pro, Keyboard is USB from a Win10 Computer - it was to cheap for any logo.
Most Standalone-Games work well with minor troubles, but that wouldn't bother me.What really makes me sad, is that i cannot use multi-disk-games like Alternate Reality, Seven Cities of Gold.
In any of them i am running in the same problem: when pressing Alt+D to enter the diskmenue, it flickers shortly and then it's away. Pressing Alt+D some longer will show it longer, but i have no possibility to do swap the disks or do anything else.
I am not sure why it is, but it seems to have to do with shortcuts on the Keyboard used by lr-Atari, whilst i need to press these keys during the game. For example, playing "hitchhikers guide to the galaxy" and pressing "m" sets the sceen, whilst pressing spacebar enhances the speed.
