Okay I’ve looked everywhere, and followed everyone’s instructions but this still isn’t working for me. all my playstation games don’t run except for ape escape. every time they open, i get the grey box, and then i’m
back at the game selection screen. i have tried every bios under the sun and none of them work. retroarch doesn’t even see any other game in my directory (other than ape escape) please help

      here’s my info:
      pi 3 b+
      apple ipad 24w box
downloaded off retropie website a week ago
i have a usb controller that stays in and i plug in a keyboard when needed
      gamesir g3s
no error, just forced back to screen
all psx roms in psx rom folder (all bios in bios folder)
      Ir-pcsx-rearmed
not sure how to replicate, i just try to start a psx game and get forced back to the game selection screen after being given the “starting” grey box

@br23z I guess my first question would be "What is the difference between Ape Escape and your other games?"

        • What format are you using? BIN/CUE, ISO, ZIP, M3U? According to the docs ZIP files are not recognized.
        • Do the images work on your PC?
        • I'M NOT ASKING FOR THIS TO BE ANSWERED OUT LOUD 🤫 just ask yourself in your own mind - are they all from the same source? Did you rip them all the same way? Etc?

I'm no LINUX programmer so I can't suggest anything that way BUT my common sense tells me that if one works they all should if supported. My troubleshooting sense tells me to look at my images first then move out from there.

Growing older is mandatory. Growing up is optional!
        Enjoy the ride!
