      I have been trying to get retropie using the terminal and everything is good until the last step where this error occurs (see image below) could someone please help?

        Can you re-try the installation now ? You should also add more info about your setup, as detailed in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first.

          I tried again but it shows the same error and here’s the information
          Hardware Pi 3
          Power supply Steel series cable
          Version 4.7.1
          Building Trying to build onto of raspbian
          Controller Power A Nintendo switch wired pro controller
          Error message In photograph
          Guide Raspbian guide on docs
          Files In photograph
          Config files ???

            @agent-blade Did you re-cloned the repository or just run the installer again ?
            Note that the RetroPie image is built on top of Raspbian (now Raspberry Pi OS), so you can install the image directly and still have access to Raspbian and its packages.

              @mitu I just ran the installation again and thats what I’m trying to do install it onto of the raspberry os

                @mitu umm so I was trying to get the blender package and tried to update and that made my retro pie work so sorry for wasting your time 😅
