Enabling shaders for scummMV games
-
Hi all. I am running Retropie on a pi4. I have just installed scummVM but the global shaders aren't working for scummVM. Any advice would be hugely appreciated. Thanks!
-
scummVM is a standalone emulator. Retroarch shaders only work with lr-cores.
-
@sleve_mcdichael thanks anyway :-)
-
@hansolonz what he means is if you use the lr-scummvm emulator, you can use the shaders through the retroarch menu (select & X)
-
@retropieuser555 haha, I didn't even notice there was an
lr-
version inexperimental packages
, I just saw the regular ones underoptional
and thought they were it. -
@retropieuser555 thanks for the comment. Lr-scummvm shows as an option but it fails to load the game. Is there something l need to do to get the scummvm games to work with lr-scummvm? Thanks!!
-
@hansolonz yup. The .svn file needs to be inside the directory of the game files. Whereas with normal scummvm, the .svn files need to be outside the directories

@retropieuser555 Thanks so much!
