      I am using the Raspberry Pi 3 model B+. I used the Raspberry pi imager to install Retropie on my SD card, just a few days ago. Then, I loaded N64 roms on my USB drive, and then I powered up the Raspberry pi with the SD and USB inserted. I see the N64 games in the menu. But, when I try to start a N64 game, I see this error. I did what it says to, but I don't know what configuration to select?!

        that's no error. that's what it shows before it boots the game. don't press a button to go into that second menu if you want it to load the default emulator (mupen64plus-auto, which is recommended)

        note that mupen64plus does not support .zip files - compatible file types are listed in the docs: https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Nintendo-64/#emulators-mupen64plus-lr-mupen64plus-lr-mupen64plus-next

          @dankcushions l. If I don't press a button, it goes back to the N64 games selection screen.

            @stevenrice please fill out https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first

            but again note that it doesn't support .zip files. the behaviour that you're seeing can be caused by incompatible file types. if you're using .zip, extract the files.
