      Hi Guys

      I have a strange issue that i never fronted .

      New & fresh installation on my raspberry pi4 , retropie 4.7.19 running under raspbian 32 bit

      After installation i "managed all packadges and let automatically installed everything )

      now i have a strange problem , when i launch some games ( 3do for example ) I get black screen .
      checking the runcommand log i get this error :

      ALSA lib seq_hw.c:466:(snd_seq_hw_open) open /dev/snd/seq failed: No such file or directory

      I never seen it .... anybody has an idea about it and how to solve ?

      thanks in advance

        Do you have a custom built kernel ? The ALSA error usually appears when you don't have the ALSA sequencer module built.
        Of course, the error could come also from a missing BIOS file - a verbose error log would be more helpful, use pastebin.com to post it.

          @mitu Hi

          Sorry for my late reply

          In the reality I don't know how i solved it

          but after many test i just update retropie and the error disappeared by himself ---

          Mistery of the life :-D
