      Hello,

My apologies if this has been answered somewhere else, I couldn't find it. Is it possible to have one core with multiple folders have a config applied per folder? In my example I have:

Core - Nestopia (for nes games)
ROM Folders - nes (ntsc nes), palnes (pal nes), famicom (ntsc japanese nes)

I would like to apply a specific border for each folder so that if I launch a rom from the nes folder, it will have a ntsc nes overlay, but if I launch a rom from the famicom folder it will have a famicom overlay.

So far the only way I have been able to achieve this is to apply a per game setting, but that will take a long time. Please let me know if there is a way to do this. Thank you!

        I believe you can place a content-directory(folder)-specific override at /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch/config/[Emulator Name]/[content_dir name].cfg e.g.

[INFO] [overrides] no content-dir-specific overrides found at /home/pi/.config/retroarch/config/PCSX-ReARMed/psx.cfg.

(Note: /home/pi/.config/retroarch --> /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch. The first one is a symbolic link, which points to the second. Either path will work; the one in /opt is the "true" location of the file path, the one in .config is the shortcut.)

They can all be done simply by menu.

You'll need to load at least one rom from each folder you have though.

Use the Overrides settings option. Then Save Content Directory Overrides, not Save Game Overrides like you have previously done.

You might also want to go to On-screen Notifications, Notification Visibility and turn off the unwanted pop-ups once you get everything settled to how you like.
