      Hi all, new to RPI4
Been doing some things, I have manged to install Raspbian and Retropie, both run fine on my TV via HDMI.
I have also followed a guide named
Use Raspberry Pi 4 USB-C data connection to connect with iPad Pro
and managed to get my RPI4 Raspbian on my ipad with USB C cable.
This is great when I'm on my travels.
So my next thought would be, this is great can I use it to see Retropie on my ipad and play retro games. So I enable VNC, restart and connect my USB open the VNC Client on my Ipad and I get unable to display dektop. From the reasearch I have done, VNC does not work great without desktops. I feel I am nearly there, so can anyone help with a workaround ?
Yes I know I can sideload RetroArch to my ipad, but I dont want to go down this route as I have my RPI4 with me so may as well make use of that, as its already got my ROMS on it.
      Thank you in advance

RetroPie doesn't use the desktop env (which I think you'd need for VNC) and it doesn't have it installed by default if you use the provided image. While some Pi4 users run EmulationStation from the desktop, it's not a supported or tested configuration and you may bump into problems at some point.
