Was hopefully looking for a little advice, been a reasonably longtime user of Retropie (and emulators in general), for the most part I have mapped PS4 wireless controllers, or use a wired USB arcade joystick - all working fine.
A few weeks ago I purchased an Xbox Series X, and a few days ago I purchased a Logitech G920 steering wheel. I did a little research prior to buying the steering wheel, and found it to work ok with the Xbox, along with Retropie and Teknoparrot.
Last night I attempted to get it running with Retropie, hooked it up - all good, Retropie recognised it etc..., and I proceeded to map the controls. The problem I am having is that the G920 is a 900 degree wheel, but I would like to limit it to 270 degrees in order to play arcade Outrun via Mame 2019.
I have found a few Linux based apps which may be able to resolve the issue, pyLinuxWheel (GPL) and Oversteer (GPL). Was wondering if anyone knew if either application was compatible with Raspberry Pi OS ?, or if there was alternative method to limit steering angle already embedded into Retropie ?
Any advice gratefully received.
Many thanks,
Vaughn.
