      Hi all,

I just wondering when Retroarch will be updated to 1.9.9 for the Raspberry Pi 4b?
Im very anxious to try out the "AMD FSR" feature, I am hoping to get better looking and performing games.

      Any ideas?

      Thanks

The AMD FSR feature is implemented in RetroArch as a shader

A very generous contributor submitted a fully working implementation of AMD FSR as an slang shader for use in RetroArch

but the Pi4 doesn't have support for that type of shader. The shader would work on PC installations where the GPU supports at least OpenGL 4.0.

@mitu Ahhh fair enough, that is a shame. Thanks for the heads up!

Oh well, maybe it might be on the Pi 5 then whenever that is released.
