8Bitdo SN30 Pro+ USING USB ADAPTERS - Multiple Controllers
-
Perhaps I am suffering from not looking with my eyes open however this is the issue that I am encoutering:
I have multiple 8Bitdo SN30 Pro+ controllers that I am attempting to use along with the official 8bitdo USB adapters. I refuse to go the route of direct BT connection and my issue is to specifically use the official adapters.
I am able to connect one controller and able to use it fine throughout ES along with all cores that I wish to use be they LR or standalone. The controllers are showing in the system as Xbox-360 controllers. My issues happen when I attempt to connect any additional controllers with the USB adapters. The subsequent controllers take over as controller 1 in any cores. When connecting them in ES the controller ID lights do show as 1, 2, 3 etc.
I have attempted to use zerojay's controller ID script at least for the LR cores however it doesn't seem to help.
Since the 8bitdo adapters make the wireless controllers appear as USB I cannot understand how to address the situation as all of the posts I have read are specific to Bluetooth controllers (for example having udev rules set up).
