I've got quite a few games (eg World Rally 2, Backfire) that are natively twin setups, but include a dipswitch option to set them to just one monitor. Unfortunately it doesn't do anything: lr-mame still insists on displaying both screens. Is there another setting somewhere I need to change?

Raspberry Pi 3b and 8GB Raspberry Pi 4, both running Retropie 4.7.1 installed from scratch using Raspberry Pi Imager, with wired keyboard, wireless mouse and double arcade joystick attached.

@jimmyfromthebay The MAME libretro core has a subpar libretro implementation and a lot of bugs because of it. It should be avoided whenever a game is supported by one of the recommended arcade libretro cores (FBNeo, MAME2003+). FWIW, FBNeo supports those 2 games and has a working dipswitch to toggle between single and dual screen.
