Problem with certain games with scummvm v2.5.0 on Pi3B+

Power Supply used: Official
RetroPie Version Used: 4.7.19
Built From: Pi imager
Controller used: official raspberry keyboard +mouse
Emulator: scummvm (v2.5.0 from binary)I am trying to play The Longest Journey and GRim Fandango on a Pi3, after i choose the game to start, it throw back to the emulationstation. The same game roms are working fine on the Pi4.

@windg I had a problem with scummvm on the pi zero for grim fandango, I had to change the 3d option to software instead of opengl. I think pi4 comes with opengl by default so maybe this is why it works there and not on your pi3?

I follow your suggestion and Grim Fandango works fine, too bad Longest Journey doesn't support software mode at least it's working on Pi4. Thank you !

@windg is your video output in HDMI? You might be able to get the opengl driver working on pi3 I think. It only doesn't work if you're using dpi video or something like that

@retropieuser555 Yes im using HDMI, how i can enable opengl? It will affect the other emulator's?

@windg potentially yes it will affect other things as it's not officially support on pi3 I think. I think you turn on vc4/kms driver from raspi-config. I'd definitely make a backup of your config.txt and other things as it might mess all kinds of things up on the pi 3, never tired it honestly.
