I recently did a self image for Retro Pi and only ever had SNES games on it so decided to add other consoles.

I used Stevens Scraper to pull the information for the SNES side and all came out fine yet Famicom, NES, Mega Drive haven’t populated.

Don’t know what I’m doing wrong. Followed a guide on YouTube from ETA prime and worked great for the SNES but now all I’m getting is “invalid character <”

I can’t seem to find any reason to why it’s bringing up that as that symbol isn’t in any of the names.

      Can anyone help?

      Thanks

      Chris

@synersist said in Scraping issues with Stevens Selphs Scraper.:

That's a generic error when the scraper doesn't understand the response or gets an error from the scraping site. Which scraping source are you using ?
Note that the source sites have some scraping limits in place or may be overloaded, so you may get errors because of it.

@synersist if you are using screenscraper.fr it is down right now.

          The Retro Arena posted

screenscraper.fr "We are sorry to have to close the site and the API until minimum Thursday morning. Our database has suffered damage from these mysql indexes.
We will try to recreate them after deleting them to see if that fixes the current mysql connection problems.
Rest assured we haven't lost any data
Thank you again for your patience."
